New brands to exhibit at the IBD-focussed event, held in Park City, Utah, from July 26th

Registration opens for US Dealercamp

Felt and Camelbak are the latest brands to sign on for the 2011 DealerCamp, a residential bike fest in a mountain resort for US IBDs.

Brands returning include Mercury Bikes, Blue Competition Cycles, Enve Composites, Parlee, Turner Bikes, Orbea, Lizard Skins and Rocky Mountain Bikes.

DealerCamp was created to bring together a number of brands in one location so that IBDs don’t have to visit a great number of house-shows.

The event takes place in Deer Valley Resort, near Salt Lake City in Utah. A ski resort in the winter, Deer Valley becomes a hiking and biking resort in summer. IBDs are encouraged to trial bikes and products on the resort’s many scenic and often challenging trails.

Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events, organising company behind DealerCamp and the media equivalent, PressCamp, said:

"When we launched DealerCamp we knew it represented a key value for brands fighting for share of mind during the critical mid-summer period, but I must admit to being humbled by the broad acceptance of the industry. With brands such as Felt, Rocky Mountain and Camelbak on-board, we really have a critical mass."

Bill Duehring, CEO at Felt Bicycles said: "I have a lot of confidence in Lance, and now with Scott Montgomery joining his team, I truly hope together Lifeboat Events can bring a good trade show option to the industry."

Todd Cravens at Quality Bicycle Products said:

"The timing and Deer Valley location work nicely for us as we plan our own dealer event at our new QBP facility in Ogden. Dealers can travel more efficiently, ride more bikes, and plan their 2012 seasons more effectively, giving them the option to attend our event and continue to DealerCamp to continue their purchasing decisions. We’ve been working together with Lance and his team to orchestrate things."

US dealers, industry affiliates, media and other can register on Bikedealercamp.com.
