Reed Boggs secures sponsorship from Muc-Off

Red Bull Rampage entrant Reed Boggs has recured a new helmet branding sponsorship deal from mountain bike care and performance specialists Muc-Off.

Muc-Off’s sponsorship of the young American is being cited as the ‘cherry on top’ of its 2017 season, which has seen it sponsor a raft of riders across mountain biking including Tahnee Seagrave, Tomas Lemoine, Danny Macaskill and the Athertons.

Muc-Off athlete and events manager Elliot Withers said: “We are insanely stoked to be working with Reed Boggs, who we believe is at the front of the next generation of great mountain bike riders. His success this year has shown raw talent, with a huge bag of tricks and outrageously stylish whips! We cannot wait to see him fly the Muc-Off flag at Red Bull Rampage.”

The deal between Reed Boggs and Muc-Off saw the two working together to design a custom full face, matt and gloss finish, helmet, which showcases the Utah desert that Boggs calls his “back yard.”

Boggs, 20, who topped the Whip-Off podium at Crankworx Rotorua earlier in the year, said: “I’m so stoked to be representing Muc-Off at this year’s Rampage, grateful for the effects their products have on my bike and keeping my bike extra clean in the Utah dust. Thanks for the support Muc-Off, so stoked!”

Competing alongside Boggs at Rampage this month will be fellow Muc-Off Ambassadors Ethan Nell and Vincent Tupin. Red Bull Rampage will be taking place in Virgin, Utah on 27th October 2017.
