An issue has been identified with Sunline’s V1 carbon handlebar, which could lead to potential failure.
Only the 31.8mm aftermarket units are affected. The handlebars are finished in a clearcoat gloss lacquer, showing the carbon weave construction of the bar. They have white Sunline printed logos, with ‘ VONE – 318 Carbon’ printed below. They also have white printed cut marks at each end of the bar, and a distinctive ‘grip tape’ finish in the stem clamping area.
MMA Sports – the brand’s distributor – has recieved reports of the £99 handlbar cracking, although no incidents so far have lead to injury.
