Rapha has announced a pop-up clubhouse in Leeds city centre.
The pop-up will be located in the Victoria Quarter Shopping Centre and will offer a mix of food and coffee, a fully-stocked boutique of Rapha products and a calendar of events unique to the venue.
It will be open for a month from 11th April to 19th May, a period which will coincide with the Tour de Yorkshire, from 2nd to 5th May. It marks the beginning of a season of Yorkshire-focused initiatives which will continue through to the World Championships in September.
Further initiatives planned throughout the year include: a Tour de Yorkshire Sportive partnership – commemorative Tour de Yorkshire Rapha jersey and a unique, yet to be announced, experience for participants on one of the key climbs along the route; a Rapha and Canyon pop-up in the fanzone during the World Championships, plus a Rapha and Canyon experience at the Cold Bath Brewing Co, a short distance from the finish line; and events and rides to celebrate cycling planned throughout the season.
A series of Rapha rides have been planned to run through the duration of the Leeds pop-up, and will use the clubhouse as a base. Rapha will provide weekend rides and events to celebrate, including an opening party on 12th April, a 75km group ride suitable for all riders on the 13th and a ‘Yorkshire Classic Reconnaissance’ ride which will tackle the Queen stage of the Tour de Yorkshire, also known as the Yorkshire Classic, a few days ahead of the pros.
The Leeds pop-up will also feature a full range of Rapha products available to buy, talks, screenings and guest appearances by pro riders, group rides and events, and Rapha’s cycle-focused food and coffee.
