Range spans the £650 to £1150 price points

Raleigh’s first gravel bike range is heading to Cycle Show 2015

Raleigh’s first range of gravel bikes are now (largely) in stock and set to appear at the forthcoming NEC-set Cycle Show.

Designed for UK cyclists and conditions, all the gravel bikes come with clearance for mudguards, wide tyres and a slightly more relaxed geometry, pitched at those who may be riding tarmac one minutes, then turning onto forest tracks or bridleways.

The range starts with the £650 Shimano Claris-equipped Mustang followed by another two alloy framed models topping out at the £1000 Rival 1×11 equipped Mustang Comp. All models feature carbon forks, a lightweight frame. The steel framed Maverick range continues for 2016 with the Maverick Elite topping the offering at £1150. The pinnacle of the range is the Roka, an all-out Gravel bike with carbon frames, hydraulic disk brakes and SRAM 1×11 groupsets.

“Our new range of Raleigh Gravel bikes really do qualify for N+1 status – it’s the bike every thrill-seeking rider needs to find space in the garage for," said Raleigh UK sales and marketing director Pippa Wibberley. "They open the door to all the adventure, fun and freedom you are looking for as well as being a perfect commuter bike for UK conditions.”

There are stock-in deals and incentives. Interested retailers are encouraged to contact their local Raleigh Account Manager or the Raleigh sales team on 0800 0969060.
