Firm follows up on electric assisted success with the Captus Colour joining the range

Raleigh: ‘We’re now the UK’s biggest electric bike company’

Raleigh has bolstered its e-bike range with the Captus Colour, sporting a new design and colour scheme for the bike.

The launch comes as Raleigh revealed it has seen its electric bike sales double year-on-year. Raleigh UK said it is now "the biggest electric bike company in the UK, with a broad range of e-bikes from Raleigh, complemented by specialist town and mountain e-bikes from Koga and Haibike."

Raleigh’s sales and marketing director Pippa Wibberley added: “Electric Bikes are leading a quiet revolution, gaining respect from enthusiasts and encouraging both the young and the less able to enjoy the freedom and health benefits of cycling.

"The Captus Colour is available in both light blue low step frame and electric blue cross bar frames and will appeal to the fast growing younger e-bike target."
