Raleigh UK to exclusively distribute Bluegrass

Raleigh has announced the exclusive distribution of Bluegrass in the UK and Ireland.

Bluegrass offers a wide and concise range of full face, open face, dirt helmets, pads and protection for DH, enduro, all mountain, BMX and e-bike use.

Jo McAleer, business development manager at MET SpA, said: “We are looking forward to working with the Raleigh UK team with Bluegrass, Raleigh brings a complete 360 focus on support for its customers from industry leading logistics to a full brand promotion campaign.”

Bluegrass works with brands such as MIPS (in the Legit Carbon Helmet) and D30 protection as well as using in-house developed technologies (safety release visor, flexible visors, hearing vents).

Collaboration and sponsorship are key for Bluegrass whose female riders dominated the recent Downhill World Cup, taking the overall win and top three positions with Tracey Hannah, Marine Cabirou and Veronika Widmann respectively.

Raleigh UK’s parts and accessories business manager Lee Kidger added: “We are really excited to start a new brand relationship with Bluegrass, part of the MET group. Its product line-up is very exciting with superb quality and really can offer something unique to bike shops in the UK and Ireland.

“We will be actively looking for Bluegrass ‘shop in shop’ concepts that are fully funded and will help bike shops sell more product and offer the customer a better shopping experience. Team this with our service proposition of 9pm cut off time, Saturday delivery and great pricing – we really feel this is a compelling offer.”
