Raleigh UK confirms exclusive Namedsport partnership

Raleigh UK has agreed an exclusive distribution deal with nutrition brand Namedsport.

Namedsport supplements aim to offer better performance and health – supported by clinical studies – with a focus on premium natural ingredients and elite-level product testing.

"Raleigh is very pleased to offer the full range of cycling supplements from energy shots to protein bars," said a statement. "We also plan to run quarterly promotions with extra margin for IBDs and free in-store PoS."

According to Raleigh, it sought a partnership with Namedsport due to similar brand values, which include "attention to detail, innovation and the constant drive to achieve excellence".

"The brand will offer our IBD network a totally unique proposition with vast consumer reach and brand exposure through sponsorship of prestigious races such as the Giro D’Italia, Tour de France and La Vuelta."

Raleigh UK managing director Pippa Wibberley added: “As a leading player in UK bicycle and bicycle P&A distribution, it is vital that we continuously drive improvements.

"The whole company is working to make changes and we are united in our drive to give IBDs the support they need to succeed in challenging market conditions.

"We are incredibly excited that we are able to make these significant business changes to support our dealers. Add to this our ongoing drive to strengthen our brand portfolio with the products and brands that consumers are demanding and I am confident that our customers will achieve great things throughout the rest of 2019 and beyond."
