Choppers, Burners and all-steel imagery used in the brand new range

Raleigh steps into merchandising with lunchboxes and mugs

Raleigh has jumped into the merchandising arena with a range of classic-themed mugs, bells, notebooks, lunchboxes and flasks, available via giftware partner Paladone.

The range plays upon Raleigh’s 127 year heritage, with a Notebook and Drinks Flask using a classic image from the 1890s of the first world cycling champion, AA Zimmerman, who took the Raleigh name to exhibitions and sprint competitions in North America and Europe.

The enamel mug, two ceramic mugs and tin lunchbox take their cue from the ’50s with "all-steel bicycles" imagery, while the Chopper and Burner images are put to use on mugs.

Raleigh Marketing Manager Ben Hillsdon said: "Raleigh is one of the most famous bike brands in the world so I’m certain these products will have huge appeal. This is an exciting project and I’m proud to see these products featuring in the gift sections of high street stores.

"This merchandise range is one of several projects we’re working on that bring the majestic Raleigh history back to life with fun, contemporary projects."

Retailers can order these items exclusively through Paladone Products: sales@paladone.com
