Raleigh celebrates Bike Week with launch of consumer campaign

Raleigh UK is celebrating Bike Week with the launch of an online end-user communications campaign designed to promote its new range of adult bikes.

Pippa Wibberley, Raleigh’s sales and marketing director, said: "Bike Week is the perfect setting to launch our new range of bikes into the UK consumer market. To ensure we’re actively helping our network of dealers sell-out these ranges, we’re creating lots of noise via an extensive online marketing campaign."

She added: “Over 90 percent of consumers are pre-qualifying their decisions online before they’re going into store to make their purchases, so what better way to reach new audiences than through a social media and direct marketing campaign?"

The Raleigh website will have a new ‘See, Try, Buy’ facility which consumers can use to link through ‘Raleigh Select Dealers’ to arrange test rides and bike loans.

"See, Try, Buy is a fantastic platform for the consumer to overcome any concerns or confidence issues, enabling them to find a trusted and approved dealer, that can offer them practical and impartial advice and help them select the right bike for them," said Wibberley.

Customers who buy a Raleigh adult bike from their local dealer receive a free lifetime warranty, which covers the frame and forks when registered by the dealer at the point of sale.

Bike Week runs from 11th – 19th June and is the annual event intended encourage people to take up cycling.
