Direct-to-consumer electric bike company Rad Power Bikes has expanded its leadership team to feature two new directors.
Quan Ralkowski is the new director of operations, while Janna Bassett becomes director of supply chain.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity and capability to bring on two such talented experts. We are at a very important stage in our business where we need leaders in these key management roles in order to scale and meet domestic and international high-volume demand,” said CEO of Rad Power Bikes Mike Radenbaugh. “Quan and Janna will work to ensure our company continues operating as smoothly as our e-bikes.”
Quan Ralkowski has a 15-year history in ecommerce, retail, and technology. Former senior global programme manager at Amazon and vice president of operations at Shoes.com, Ralkowski has a strong track record of developing and leading initiatives.
Janna Bassett brings more than ten years of supply chain, manufacturing and management experience to Rad Power Bikes. Previously a director of supply chain management at Clarisonic and manager at L’Oréal, Bassett will apply her experience in these roles to ensure Rad Power Bikes continues to offer “competitive price.”
In the last six months, Rad Power Bikes launched its commercial division and the RadBurro electric cargo trike, expanded operations in Canada and 28 countries in the European Union, and released its line of 2018 e-bike models, including the brand new RadCity Step-Thru. Ralkowski and Bassett will be involved in each of these endeavours.
