The training and CyTech assessment centre will be run by Alan Hewitt, ex of Madison. His appointment starts on 1st June.

Promech to open centre in Scotland

Hewitt was with Madison for 11 years but has left to create Promech’s presence in Scotland.

Promech MD Alan Finch said:

“We are extremely pleased that Alan Hewitt wanted to join our team at Promech. He brings with him a wealth of cycle industry experience and with his larger than life personality, we know he will make it a success”

Hewitt will start by delivering in-store CyTech training and assessments. A workshop sited in Scotland will be sought in due course.

Hewitt, who lives in North West Scotland, said:

“I have known Alan Finch and the team at Promech for some time and got to know them very well when I underwent my CyTech training with them. It was then that I realised how dedicated Finch’s team is to the cycle industry and its on-going development."
