The brand new Science Fitness range has launched with a new endurance and recovery drink, GlycoSource.
GlycoSource is a product of the partnership between Principle Healthcare International and Leeds Beckett University.
Principle Healthcare is a UK producer of vitamin, mineral and supplements and has been suppling UK grocers with supplements for over a decade. It currently exports brands to over 30 worldwide markets. Leeds Beckett’s Carnegie Faculty for Sport, Physical Activity and Leisure is reportedly one of the leading sport science facilities in the UK.
Designed to be taken during and after training, GlycoSource is pitched as the first and only sports nutrition supplement which has been scientifically proven to increase levels of glycogen in both the muscles and the liver and is proven, the brand says, to deliver 30% more effective recovery of glycogen against carbohydrate supplements. It has been specifically formulated to reduce carbohydrate levels needed by up to 44%, meaning bloating, stitch and discomfort are kept to a minimum.
The GlycoSource formulation was the product of years of scientific research and athlete trials, the results of which have been peer-reviewed and published in the British Journal of Nutrition.
GlycoSource is Informed-Sport approved, meaning it is batch-tested to ensure WADA compliance and peace of mind for pro and elite athletes, and contains absolutely no artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners or preservatives.
Science Fitness has received glowing praise in the specialist press, scoring 86% in 220Triathlon, and called “the must have endurance and recovery drink” by Total Sports Nutrition online.
