Dealers sought from Cycle Show launch

Principia back in the UK

Nemesis is due to re-launch the Principia brand back into the UK at next week’s Cycle Show. (Oct 8th to 11th)

Dealers are now being sought across the UK to handle the brand, which has been taken over by Danish company HF Christiansen.

Having traditionally worked with aluminium, the manufacturer branched into carbon frames in 2005, resulting in the flagship ‘Revolution Weave C4OT’. This frame is made from carbon filaments, which with a pulling strength of 40 tons per square centimeter provides a very high STW value. The entire frame weighs in sub 1000 grams, too.

The C40T is also claimed to be the only carbon bicycle frame manufactured to C60 quality, which has an unheard of strength. This carbon quality would otherwise only be used in the weapons industry.

The C60 bicycle has been given the name Revolution Limited and as the name implies, only a very limited number will be manufactured for the most demanding customers.

HF Christiansen has marketed Principia in Scandinavia since 2005 and at the end of 2007, the company acquired worldwide rights to the brand. HF Christiansen has been on the bicycle market since 1903 and as such is the oldest family-owned bicycle importer globally.
