Prestacycle has announced an agreement to become the exclusive US brand and distributor for British cycling accessories brand Tyre Glider.
The tyre fitting and removal tool will be sold in the US under the Prestacycle name. The partnership will draw on the cycling tool and inflation equipment specialist’s US operations and trade relationships to expand availability to cyclists, bicycle retailers and professional workshops.
Developed and manufactured in the UK, Tyre Glider is an alternative to traditional tyre levers. The tool uses a gliding action to guide the tyre bead over the rim, which the brand says simplifies fitting and removal, including the final section of tight-fitting tyres.
Richard Eakins, director of Prestacycle UK and Europe, said:

International availability
The exclusive branded distribution agreement applies to the US. Prestacycle says the Prestacycle-branded Tyre Glider is also available globally as part of its product range, including through its US, UK and European online stores.
