To better reflect the offerings from attending suppliers PressCamp Winter is to rebranded as PressCamp Road. The ECRM-owned event remains at the Westlake Village Inn in Westlake Village, California.
"We saw the trend organically moving this direction over the last three years," said ECRM’s vice president of sports, Lance Camisasca, adding that he’d noticed suppliers displaying "more road bikes, apparel, helmets, components and the like."
Suppliers will still be free to schlepp non-road products too. "Cyclo-cross, gravel, adventure, touring, urban and eBikes are also welcome," said Camisasca, "but we would really prefer to allow the road segments to have more focus and quality time with vertical and active lifestyle media."
PressCamp Road will be staged January 23rd-26th and will be limited to fifteen brands. PressCamp Summer remains unchanged, kicking off later this month in Park City, Utah.
ECRM – or Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing – acquired the PressCamp events from Camisasca’s Lifeboat Events in April 2015.
