PressCamp 2013: News, tours, views and more

2013’s PressCamp at Deer Valley in Utah is now well underway, providing 30 editors with one-on-one access to bike brands including sneak peeks of new products, POS, factory tours and more. Why Deer Valley? This is why.

Our man on the scene, BikeBiz executive editor Carlton Reid, took a close look at Reynolds and chatted with engineering manager Kim Kington.

Also at PressCamp, Oz lights and locks brand Knog has unveiled a new series of digital information and digital stands for retailers.

Boardman Bikes is at the show for the first time, aiming to grow its dealership overseas.

While at the show, BikeBiz has been chatting with Matt Dixon of Purple Patch Coaching who has first-hand experience of coaching Silicon Valley A-listers who prefer to do tech deals in the saddle rather than on the golf course.

Sugoi wowed editors with bladders, bubbles and bibs. Dahon created a Brompton dock style folder-in-a-locker system.

GT launched the new 650B Sensor at PressCamp. David Turner relaunched his Flux as 27.5incher and helped guide media down Rattlesnake Gulch.

PressCamp, now in its fifth edition, has come in for some criticism from some UK bike bloggers. Read all about it here.

We’ll update this page with links to all of BikeBiz’s PressCamp 2013 coverage, but in the meantime you can follow the tweets from the editors present by clicking on the Twitter hashtag #DVpresscamp.
