Porsche E-Bike Performance GmbH continues to bolster its leadership team with the appointments of Denise Silva as director product definition and Thorsten Weppert as director corporate quality.
Together, Silva and Weppert bring extensive experience from the cycling and automotive industries and will play pivotal roles in shaping the company’s future.

Denise Silva joins as director product definition, bringing 18 years of experience from the cycling industry, working exclusively with performance sports brands including Specialized, BMC, and most recently the Accell Group.
At Accell, she led product development for Haibike, Lapierre, and Ghost, successfully transforming three independent teams across multiple locations into a unified, cross-functional matrix organization.
Florian von Wurmb-Seibel, CTO of Porsche E-Bike Performance GmbH, shared: “I am very excited to welcome Denise Silva to the team. with her bicycle industry knowledge we form the perfect bridge between the strategic portfolio and the daily project business.”
At Porsche E-Bike Performance, Silva will lead the product definition team and oversee the translation of portfolio strategies into system and component specifications. Her team will ensure the transfer of requirements into the project organization to maximize customer value. An avid cyclist herself, Silva is especially drawn to e-MTB and gravel riding.
Thorsten Weppert joins with more than two decades of experience in quality management, including experience on the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) side at Porsche AG and the automotive and medical technology supplier industries.
At Porsche AG, he was responsible for quality planning for purchased parts, and played a key role in exterior add-on parts quality. Most recently, he established the Body Functions Quality department, supporting Porsche AG’s shift toward system engineering.

In his new role, Weppert will lead the Corporate Quality department, strengthening quality management and ensuring automotive standards with his deep experience from vehicle development.
