Boulder, Colorado-based Polar has brought two new hires on board the team, taking its number of employees up to 34.
Mike Goldberg is taking on a sales associate role, while Montana Marsden has become accounting manager.
Goldberg has over six year experience in retail and sales in the outdoor and advertising industries, including a recent stint with giantnerd.com, an online shopping community focused on outdoor gear. Goldberg also worked as a ski patroller, fly fishing guide and snowcat guide. With Polar, he’ll aim to expand Polar Bottle’s retail network.
“I’m thrilled to be working for Polar Bottle because I love the product,” said Goldberg. “I look forward to helping get Polar Bottle into more retail stores.”
Meanwhile Marsden is to take on accounting duties at Polar, evaluating future business opportunities for Product Architects as a member of the in-house product development team.
Marsden recently graduated from the University of Utah School of Business with a BS in entrepreneurship.
He said: “This is an exciting opportunity for me,” said Marsden. “I am able to apply what I learned in school while also contributing to a great product and team.”
President of Product Architects Judy Amabile added: “Business has been good, and we’re ready to take it to the next level. These are new positions we created as part of a strategic growth initiative.”
