"Eurobike is a very important event for the cycling world," says a statement from Pinarello. However, that hadn’t stopped the Italian bike brand from pulling its show presence
"In recent years the business strategies of Pinarello have changed radically," continues the statement, adding that the firm favours "direct involvement with our customers."
Pinarello is therefore to concentrate on its in-house events in stages in its home city of Treviso twice annually. It will also hold smaller regional events around the world.
New products will continue to be unveiled in May at a joint presentation with Team Sky at the Giro D’Italia.
