Phone app reminds you when your bike needs servicing

Smartphone apps may rarely directly impact bike shops, but Feedback Sports’ smartphone app could prove a boon to bike workshops across the nation.

The Bicycle Maintenance Tracker, available free on Android and iOS, puts a bike maintenance log at a rider’s fingertips, sets reminders for future checks and maintenance, can store data on multiple bikes, keeps track of all bike components and saves serial numbers.

Feedback Sports said: "Our goal is to consolidate your bicycle maintenance and component lists into
one place with a simple to use app. We wanted to rid our workbench of random notebooks and unorganised pieces of paper. This app achieves that goal."
