Peter Sagan and 100% introduce Glendale sunglasses

Peter Sagan and 100% have announced their latest performance eyewear, the Glendale sunglasses.

The signature cylindrical shield offers unobstructed view and the ultra-grip rubber nose and temple tips are adjustable for customised fit.

The shatterproof, lightweight TR90 frame is made in Italy, and there is a the Hiper lens tech option available, with all lenses made in France.

The Hydrolio lens treatment repels water, dirt and oil and there is an additional lens ventilation to direct proper air flow.

The high-impact resistant and lightweight polycarbonate lenses also offer UV protection.

Sagan said: “I have very little time in my life for anything outside training, media work and racing.

“But two years ago, when I decided to join forces with my guys at 100%, we got to spend some good relaxing time together in Southern California.

“Amongst other things, I remember we instantly clicked on our shared love of design and American vintage muscle cars.

“Sparks quickly happened and together with the creative team of Jerome and Marc, we went to work on this very special concept that would bridge the gap between one of my life passions and my every day racing. I was so excited!”

Marc Blanchard, creative director at 100%, added: “Peter is so fun. He doesn’t impose limits to imagination at all.

“But real life and especially competitive cycling provides a lot of constraints.

“We had to ensure we could deliver a unique blend of vintage-modern Americana design while continuing to include all the latest eyewear technology we are already known for.”
