Pas Normal Studios expands to Shanghai with flagship store

Copenhagen-based Pas Normal Studios has announced the upcoming opening of its first flagship shop in Shanghai, located at No. 110-2 Xiansuo Phase 1, Jing’an District.

In sharing the news, the brand emphasises that “this marks a major milestone in the brand’s global expansion and underscores its long-term commitment to the growing cycling community in Shanghai.”

Following the launch of its dedicated business unit in late 2024, the Shanghai flagship is set to offer a fully immersive Pas Normal Studios experience – featuring the brand’s product universe and a strong focus on community and cultural engagement.

“Our entry into Shanghai marks an exciting new chapter for the brand – a bold step that reflects both our ambition and our commitment to serve a truly global community of riders. China’s cycling culture is evolving at incredible speed, with Shanghai at the heart of this transformation,” Peter Lange, CEO & co-founder of Pas Normal Studios.

The flagship shop soft opened on Friday, 15 August 2025 local time, and officially opens to the public on Friday, 19 September 2025, with grand opening weekend celebrations planned to mark the occasion.

To celebrate the launch, Pas Normal Studios will host a full weekend of events, including a grand opening ride, press session and media workshop and an opening party to mark the occasion.

Speaking as the new Shanghai store was officially announced, Alexander Schandorff, GM, China, for PNS reflected: “This project has been months in the making, and it’s taken an incredible amount of teamwork, dedication, and passion to bring it to life. A huge thanks to everyone involved in making this possible – with special appreciation to my partner in crime Kasper Obel, for driving this project together from day one.

“Excited to finally open the doors, connect with the Shanghai cycling community, and welcome everyone in for rides, coffee, and the full Pas Normal Studios experience.”
