PaceUp Media launches today

A new London-based agency PaceUp Media has been launched today.

The agency is comprised of experts with a proven track record in international sport and media.

Director and founder Tom Copeland is an ex-professional cyclist and former press officer to Giant Alpecin professional cycling team and PR manager Samuel Doll is formerly of Fusion Media.

PaceUp Media already has a client list of Scicon, Team Sunweb and Velusso cycling holidays.

It offers an all-inclusive list of sports media services, combining PR, social media, content delivery and communications strategy.

Copeland said: "Having spent several years working across brands, the media, teams and agencies, the next logical step was to combine all of that experience and create a service which all parties will benefit from.

"Bringing in Sam’s knowledge and expertise gives us the strong footing we need to hit the ground running.

"We’ve identified several underserved areas of the industry, such as sponsorship activation through PR and communications, and are looking forward to helping brands in the cycling and wider sports industry grow through our unique approach."

Christian Pearce of ASG International, the parent company of Scicon said: "Having worked with Tom for several years now, his industry knowledge and network is clear and of great benefit to us as an international brand in the top tiers of sport.

"Scicon is at an exciting stage of growth and development, and we’re looking forward to growing alongside PaceUp and the team."
