New operators have been found for both the Oxford and Bath cycle hire schemes, reports Road.cc.
Having run into troubles six months ago with its operators enterring liquidation, the OxonBike scheme will now return managed by HourBike.
As is common elsewhere, the bikes will be free for the first 30 minutes of use. Around 500 people signed up to use the bikes when the original two-year pilot was launched.
In the south west, Bath’s hire scheme has also seen a new operator appointed in the form of German operators NextBike.
