Nick Larsen becomes Cannondale’s global creative director

The UK’s Nick Larsen has been appointed the creative director for Cannondale Global. The founder of Charge will remain based in the UK. Other changes at the Dorel owned company include the appointment of Dennis Kim as marketing director for Cannondale Global, and Katie McManus becoming senior manager North American marketing.  

Brian Immel, vice president of global marketing at the Cycling Sports Group said: “Nick brings his unique design aesthetic and experience in creating and building progressive cycling brands while Dennis has significant experience building marketing strategy for performance brands. Together Nick and Dennis will bring a fresh creative energy to the Cannondale brand.”

As Larsen assumes leadership of the Cannondale creative team, Jeremiah Boobar, CSG’s director, suspension, parts & accessories will take the helm of the Fabric and Charge businesses, but continue to lead suspension and component development for Cannondale. 

Canadian Dennis Kim joins Cannondale from the SUGOI and Sombrio cycling apparel brands, recently sold by Dorel. He was responsible for global product development and marketing before being promoted to general manager. Dennis has been on the board of directors for Cycling Canada since September last year.

American Katie McManus joined CSG in 2012 and has progressed through a variety of marketing roles in the North America marketing team, rising from her original role in events management to more recently overseeing advertising, social media, and promotions for the region.
