New look for Bikemagic

Magicalia’s mountain bike website Bikemagic has been given a brand new look and feel with a fresh logo, redesigned layout and technical improvements.

The site – found at www.bikemagic.com – also now features an overhauled review system, with user reviews sitting alongside editorial reviews. Ease of use has been improved across the site, in navigation and search capabilities, while the site now has a new blog area where Bikemagic staff can record news, gossip and thoughts.

The site redesign took place in-house using proprietary platform technology. In addition to its own sites, the Magicalia tech team also handles websites for ecommerce and publishing clients. The firm said that investment in the site reflects revenue growth in the firm’s bike portfolio.

Bikemagic editor Mike Davis enthused: “We’ve had a few redesigns in the ten years since Bikemagic started, but this one’s a lot more than skin-deep.

“The all-new content management system that underpins the site will considerably enhance our ability to keep readers up-to-date with the latest news from the world of mountain biking.”
