New brand Bookman Urban Visibility unveils first project

Under a new brand concept, Swedish company Bookman Urban Visibility has released a new wearable light clip that is easily attached to a wind jacket, coat, bag or backpack.

The light, called Eclipse, is rechargeable and has a run time of 60 hours.

“As with all of our products, we set out the design with a simple shape and then focused on usability. In the case of the Eclipse, it was important to have a button that was big and easy to access whilst on the move. Consequently, the glass got half the space and became an eclipsed circle of light,” commented Eclipse designer Mattis Bernstone.

Eclipse, equipped with both white and red LEDs for front and rear mounts, is designed to be worn during outdoor activities such as cycling and walking. The light is available in black, gray and pink, and out for pre-order at www.bookman.se. Shipping starts March 2018.
