New bikes to launch at iceBike*

With just weeks until the iceBike* and Sportline show, both Saracen and Adventure have announced new bike releases.

The show – which takes place at Arena:MK from Tuesday February 21 to Wednesday February 22nd – will display a range of new and updated models to the trade including two 29ers, pro-level road bikes, e-bikes and commuter models amongst others.

Adventure is bringing a completely new range of models to the show including three children’s bikes and an e-bike. The Roadsport men’s electric bike is designed for urban use and family rides. With a 700c alloy frame, the Roadsport comes equipped with proven Shimano STEPS technology and Shimano M355 hydraulic brakes.

The Lola, Bluebell and Babyccino models make up the three new children’s bikes in the range. All three have lightweight alloy frames, traditional easy-to-master ride positions and woven baskets for toys.

Saracen is launching two new 29er models called the Zenith and the Zenith Trail. Information on the bikes is thin on the ground at the moment, but the brand has claimed that they blur the lines between XC race and trail riding.

Ridley will make a return to the Sportline Show to exhibit the new Helium SLX high-end race bike, which is currently being ridden by the Lotto Soudal team at the Tour Down Under. The bike was first introduced at the Eurobike show last summer to positive feedback.

Both Genesis and Ridgeback will showing vast ranges at the show. Genesis will bring the Croix de Fer, Tarn and Zero, whilst Ridgeback will exhibit its range of Shimano steps e-bikes, Metro bikes and a whole line of Dimension children’s bikes.
