Alienation’s 2011 catalogue will contain a selection of newly patented Pivotal saddles, which for the first time are adjustable fore and aft.
The 270 gram system (200 for all plastic) effectively doubles up the jagged Pivotal design with a few inches of the underside of the saddle grooved, giving the system far greater saddle position flexibility.
Four padded designs will be available, as well as four all plastic versions for those who shave weight wherever possible.
Odyssey recently announced this seatpost variation which allows the use of either railed or pivotal saddles, though doesn’t allow the backwards/forwards adjustment of Alienation’s new system when run as a pivotal setup.
