But it's not a volte face from Haymarket or David Hyde, the show that's moving is Retail Interiors

NEC show moves to London

Retail Interiors is partnering with International Display Week (IDW2), the visual merchandising show, and both are co-locating to London’s Earls Court.

Taking place 17-19th September 2002, the joint show will provide opportunities for all those looking for the latest ideas and innovations in the design, display, visual merchandising, lighting, point of purchase, audio visual and equipment sectors.

There will also be a line-up of retail seminars, which cost £25 and up but which are usually packed to the gills (bike trade take note!)

Ian McGarrigle, deputy managing director of Emap Retail, organiser of the Retail Interiors Show, said: "The decision to move the Retail Interiors Show from the NEC Birmingham to London came after much discussion with the industry and reflects our aim to turn the event into an international platform for the retail industry."
