Nakeid’s female-focused cycle apparel range is hot on wearable tech, incorporating an activity monitor within its range.
The range includes jerseys, shorts and tops, using wicking fabrics and Elastic Interface Tech pads that use anatomic 3D shapes and dual density construction for comfort and protection. Designed for a wide perineal area, newly developed elastic matrial (EIT CUBE) is used in the apparel line-up too.
The London-based cycling start-up has not yet been operating for a full year. Founded by Elena Gromova, Nakeid’s team includes fashion designer Lynnette Murphy and sports business consultant Vladimir Voloshin. The range uses Italian materials and is made in Latvia and the UK.
The activity monitor can be worn on the wrist, or you can detach the grey bit…
…and stow it inside specially designed ‘pockets’ in the Nakeid clothing range.
