Muc-Off has announced a significant investment in its global operations, in a move it says has strengthened its UK production capabilities, created new jobs and expanded warehouse capacity across the UK and the United States.

The brand says the investment marks a major step forward, increasing manufacturing and operational capacity, improving global fulfilment capability and ‘future-proofing the business as demand continues to rise across its international markets.’

At its new UK production site, Muc-Off has ‘invested in modern production equipment and increased capacity to support the manufacture of its growing range of bicycle and powersports cleaners, lubricants and protectants.’ Muc-Off says it is producing 70,000 bottles per week from the new facility, delivering multi-channel fulfilment for global distribution partners, including key accounts, IBDs and e-commerce channels.

As part of the same UK investment, The Hangar also includes a more sustainable 75,000 sq ft warehouse, replacing Muc-Off’s previous 52,000 sq ft site and delivering a substantial increase in UK storage, processing and fulfilment capacity. The site also provides Muc-Off with a facility that includes various energy-efficient utilities, including solar power and LED lighting throughout.

According to Muc-Off, the expanded facility gives them the space and flexibility required to support rising demand across its product portfolio, enabling higher volumes to be produced, processed and distributed more efficiently, providing a sustainable environment for its employees.

Said to be a significant upgrade to Muc-Off’s UK operations, ‘strengthening the connection between production, warehousing, and global distribution and provide the base to achieve its sustainability targets by reducing waste, utilising green energy and reducing the environmental impact of transportation.’

Alex Trimnell, Owner, CEO and founding family member at Muc-Off, said:

“We’ve been growing fast, and our investments are keeping pace with that. The Hangar gives us the modern, eco-friendly production capability, capacity and headroom we need to keep pushing forward. When you look at that alongside what we’ve built in South Carolina, it’s clear we’re creating a much stronger, more connected global operation. Together, these investments put us in an even better position to support our partners and riders as we continue to grow.”

As part of the wider global investment, Muc-Off has also invested in a new purpose-built warehouse facility in South Carolina to support its ‘rapidly growing North American operations.’

The South Carolina warehouse is significantly larger than the previous operation and has been designed to support both current demand and long-term growth. The brand says the move allows the US team to operate more efficiently, respond faster to changing demand and deliver a consistent service for retail and distribution partners across North America.

By investing in upgraded production and warehouse facilities on both sides of the Atlantic, Muc-Off says it is reinforcing its commitment to long-term growth, operational resilience and improved service for partners and customers worldwide.

Both facilities are now live and fully integrated into Muc-Off’s global supply network.
