Farrelly Atkinson, organiser behind the Cycling Expo (and Road.cc) which is taking place on the Olympic Road Race Weekend, have revealed the growing list of exhibitor signed up to the event.
The event takes place on the Official BBC Livesite where Surrey Hills are hosting a Road Race Festival overlooking the Olympic course.
And those brands? They now include – exhibiting standalone or partnering retailers – Colnago, SRAM, LOOK, Santini, Trek, Cannondale, Canyon, Schwalbe, Merida, Polaris, Adidas, Rolf, Endura, Kask, with Fisher Outdoor Leisure and Windwave as distributors.
East St Cycles and Bikes Direct Warehouse (Dorking) having a major retailer presence at the event.
Taking place on the 28/29th July, the event – free for the public – is adjacent the A24 and overlooking Box Hill. The venue is Denbies Vineyard – a popular tourist attraction we’re told. The festival has LOCOG approval and the support of Surrey Hills, plus it will feature the large BBC live feed screen, food and drink concessions and the usual festival amenities.
It is being heavily promoted on posters across Southern Rail’s network, including Victoria, London Bridge, Croydon, and both mainline Dorking stations, as well as being promoted on road.cc and with its own website.
