Mondraker releases expanded 2019 range

Monraker Bikes has released its latest range of high-performance rides for 2019.

The Spanish brand said it has taken everything it has learned from developing World Cup-level race bikes and “blends it perfectly” with developments and designs created by working closely with its riders every day.

The new launches “lead, rather than follow on the trail” with key improvements to its popular models and an expansion of its e-bike offering.

Each bike in the range features shorter off-set forks and Monraker’s own Forward Geometry concept for improved performance out on the trail, and all models will be backed by the brand’s lifetime frame warranty.

Upon launch, Mondraker has revealed its six top highlights for the new range:

Foxy
‘The ultimate trail tool’
The Foxy range has expanded and now features nine bikes and five frame options. Joined by the larger wheeled 29” version this summer, the 150mm trail bike is noted for its performance and versatility. Foxy now offers two wheel sizes and a new aluminium option.

Dune
‘Super Enduro defined’
The Dune has been completely reworked for 2019 and now possesses 170mm of rear wheel travel. All new linkages are mounted with oversized hardware and bearings, all of which sits on either an aluminium or carbon frame with reworked suspension kinematics.

F-Podium (coming soon)
‘The lightest XC full suspension bike on the planet’
Mondraker set out to construct “the lightest full suspension bike on the planet” with the F-Podium, and the brand says it has achieved exactly that. Raced and tested at World Cup XC level, the new ride possesses full zero-suspension and Forward Geometry.

Summum
‘Fast forward’
“In 2010 when Mondraker first released the Summum they pushed the envelope so far that even to this day, the competition still hasn’t managed to catch up or get near its weight and performance figures,” the brand stated. “Since then, the Summum has been tweaked and a carbon version was added but at its heart still lies a high-performance Zero Suspension system and pioneering Forward Geometry.”

Level
‘Big-hitting e-performance’
To keep up with the popularity and demand for e-MTBs, Mondraker has released the new, more aggressive Level, designed to tick the “more hardcore box” for riders going big on battery-powered machines. With 29” wheels and 160mm of coil sprung suspension, the Level is designed to take the hits and power back up the climbs after.

Chaser
‘130mm of e-bike performance’
The 130mm travel Chaser features an integrated Bosch motor and Powertube battery with Forward Geometry and performance zero-suspension. Aimed at riders looking for a shorter travel e-bike, the ride has been designed from the ground up with an all-new frame and RockShox suspension.
