Mick Habgood to give free lecture on foot biomechanics Thursday

Biomechanics expert Mick Habgood is to take over Cyclefit HQ on Thursday night to host a seminar on the foot/cleat interface and the associated issues.

Free to attend, the lecture will take an uncomplicated view of the foot, question whether the current theories will hold the test of time and piece together the protocols to maximise comfort and performance in the elite & recreational cyclist.

Cyclefit’s Phil Cavell said: "This event is part of the Cyclefit Sports Science Series. Hosted at our Covent Garden store, these evening presentations represent a fantastic opportunity for cyclists and triathletes to improve their performance through access to new perspectives from a panel of carefully chosen speakers

"Cyclefit fosters a culture of continuous learning; we’re regularly searching for new ways to apply research and improve our client’s riding experience. Over the years, our clients have become increasingly interested in how sports science can help them ride faster, further and in more comfort."

The seminar will run from 7 to 9pm at 11-13 Macklin Street, WC2B5NH.
