Messingschlager grows UK sales team

Messingschlager has announced personnel growth in its UK sales team.

As of 1st September 2019, Iain Pollitt-Walmsley joined Messingschlager as area sales manager UK/IRE.

“We are delighted to have won Iain for the Messingschlager team,” said managing director Dennis Schömburg. “He is well acquainted with the British and Irish market and has profound business expertise.

“We could face new challenges in the British market. Looking at the current political situation we might be confronted with a No Deal Brexit.

“With Iain on board, we post a clear sign that also in the future the British market is of high importance for us and that we try to be closer to our British customers than ever before.”

With over 30 years of experience in the bicycle industry, Pollitt-Walmsley has been involved in the P&A business in the UK working for distributors such as Coyote Sports, Avocet Sports, Oxford Products and more recently Blomson International.  He has developed a wide range of skills whilst working in a variety of roles within these businesses.

At Messingschlager, he will take care of the British wholesale and OEM customers. He will work from his office in England and reports directly to managing director Dennis Schömburg.

Pollitt-Walmsley will be supported by Frank Brückner and his team, which is in charge of the Messingschlager sales in Western Europe.

For more information please contact Pollitt-Walmsley on +44 (0) 7543 983050 or ipw@messingschlager.com.
