Girona-based Megamo and its UK partner AlsoBikes have introduced the brand’s all-new for 2026 West gravel bike at the CIN Live show.

West represents arguably the brand’s most well-known gravel bike, with the new-for-2026 bike now entering a new chapter with the launch of a fully redesigned second generation.

First launched in Girona—widely regarded as a mecca for road and gravel cycling— the West, Megamo’s pioneering gravel bike, has been redesigned to meet the needs of the fast-growing gravel category.

A new frame, built for speed and adventure

Straight to the key points: Tyre clearance has been expanded to 50 mm, while compatibility with gravel suspension forks and dropper seatposts ensures the West is ready for any kind of ride, from racing to multi-day expeditions.

For 2026, the West frame uses the brand’s Superlight Carbon (SL) frame – offering the expected “Lighter, stiffer, and more efficient than ever” performance enhancement, built around updated geometry “that balances high-speed stability with agile handling on technical terrain.”

For those keen on a clean and minimalist instal, the West runs its cables internally, while the integrated carbon cockpit on top-end models offers both rigidity and comfort, designed specifically for gravel control.

Versatility and practicality haven’t been forgotten in the name of speed, with the West sporting an internal downtube storage system, including a waterproof bag, alongside multiple mounting points for bottles, bags, and bikepacking gear.

Premium builds and components

The new West debuts with its most advanced range of builds to date. At the top sits the SRAM Force AXS 13-speed with power meter, followed by models equipped with SRAM Rival AXS and Shimano GRX Di2, offering options for elite racers and endurance-focused riders alike.

Another major highlight is the introduction of the Zipp 303 XPLR S carbon wheels (54mm), boosting performance with a balance of lightweight efficiency, stiffness, and reliability across all terrains.

Visually, the SL lineup arrives in three exclusive new colours — Camo, Malva (mauve), and Sand — inspired by the landscapes and natural tones that define the spirit of gravel.

Attendees at CIN Live 2025 will find the Malve bike on display inside the main hall, with Megamo also having a selection of demo bikes available for attendees to ride.

In the UK, the brand offers a size bike range, starting at RRP £2499 and topping out at RRP £6199.
