Maxxis to sponsor Pure BMX

Maxxis Tyres has signed a long term sponsorship deal with the Pure BMX team, which includes 2016 Olympic hopeful Kyle Evans. The sponsorship agreement will offer riders access to the full range of Maxxis BMX tyres, including the fast and light DTH, which was designed for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Richard Townsend, owner of Pure Racing, said: “We are delighted to be working with Maxxis throughout 2016. We are constantly looking for the very best components on the market to ensure that we provide our riders with the performance they deserve.”

Bicycle brand manager at Maxxis, Stephen Robinson, said. "It is awesome to be involved with such an inspiring team, which comprises some of the rawest talent out there. They live and breathe the sport and are exhilarating to watch."

He added: "We’re confident our tyres will live up to their reputation and give Pure riders that extra bit of oomph to carry them through to a successful finish.

Pure riders will compete as a team at numerous events during 2016 season, including the British National Championships, the UEC European Championships and the UCI SX Series.

There are nine tyres in the Maxxix BMX range.
