Matt Barker leaves ZyroFisher

Matt Barker is moving on from his role as CEO at ZyroFisher, after seven years with the business.

As CEO, Barker was responsible for the integration of Zyro and Fisher and built the state-of-the-art infrastructure that supports the current operation. He leaves behind him a strong and established management team with a strategic vision to deliver growth, both in the UK and internationally, over the coming years.

James Browning, who became the company’s chairman after running Fisher Outdoor, has been appointed as CEO with immediate effect. There are no other changes to the management structure and it is business as usual.

Browning said: “Our industry is going through an exciting time and I’m looking forward to being directly involved with the business, its brand partners and customers.”

ZyroFisher has said its team all wish Barker the “very best for the future”.

The distributor’s portfolio includes brands Argon 18, Look, BMC Switzerland, SRAM, Selle San Marco and Tacx, amongst others. It was exhibiting at the NEC Cycle Show last month, which took place from 12th to 15th September.
