Marin took over the 417 Project bike park in Cheltenham to launch the 2017 Marin bike range including the new Hawk Hill.
The Hawk Hill is a new full suspention mountain bike from Marin. The brand say that the new range of mountain bikes have been developed with the input of mountain bike legend Eric Carter and the UK based Marin / Stans Racing team.
The Hawk Hill is built around a Series 3 6061 butted and hydroformed frame, 27.5” wheels and MultiTrac suspension with 120mm travel. There’s a X Fusion 02 Pro R shock out back and a RockShox Recon Silver RL fork up front. It’s low, slack and long and can be upgraded to run a 142 x 12 bolt through axle and dropper post. The complete bike is £1100.
John Oldale, Brand Manager for Marin Bikes UK said: “We’re super excited to launch the Hawk Hill here in the UK. It’s a bike that is built to encourage new riders into the sport, give them a great fun experience on the trail and grow with them. It has massive upgrade potential and rides way above its price tag – we can’t wait to see it out on the trail”.
