Magura expands Supernova sales in Europe

Magura Bike Parts is to expand the distribution of Supernova to other European countries following its market launch in Germany.

Supernova’s lighting solutions will be available in the Benelux countries, France and the UK.

Martina Class, managing director of Magura Bike Parts, said: “The response to Supernova products in Germany has been really exceptional.

“This is mainly due to the great increase in e-bikes and alternative mobility concepts.

“Supernova offers high-quality, road-approved products that improve safety and comfort for all road users.

“That’s why we’re delighted that we can now offer Supernova products in other European countries.”

Magura Bike Parts offers the complete portfolio of Supernova, opening up the lighting range to the European specialist trade.

Marcus Wallmeyer, CEO at Supernova, said: “We chose Magura as our sales partner because its sales force of over 20,000 affiliated dealers is second to none – and the company’s service and quality standards have totally convinced us.”

Supernova is a Freiburg-based company specialising in the development of new lighting solutions for bicycles and alternative mobility solutions.

The company offers innovative solutions for pedelecs and S-pedelecs, as well as its classic battery and dynamo-powered front and rear lights.

The M99 Mini is the first headlamp worldwide to have a switchable main beam, in compliance with the German road traffic regulation.

The Supernova M99 Tail Light also has an integrated brake light, which is compatible with the brake lever of the Magura MT5e and is automatically activated before braking starts.
