Madison to distribute Urban Iki, brand will exhibit at iceBike*

Madison is to distribute bicycle seat brand Urban Iki.

The company is now set to exhibit its two products at iceBike* at the end of February.

Urban Iki hails from Amsterdam and makes front and rear child seats using Japanese-inspired design, colours and technology. The brand has experienced growth in the Netherlands over the last 12 months and this new partnership with Madison is part of a wider European expansion strategy.

The Urban Iki Front Seat has an RRP of £54.99 with an age range of nine months to three years. It has a safe five-point harness, ergonomically shaped seat and includes the mounting system. The rear seat has an age range of nine months to six years with an RRP of £64.99 with the rack mounting frame, or £79.99 for the frame mount option. It has all the same features as the front seat including integrated drainage, click and go mounting as well as adjustable footrests and foot straps.

Brand manager Paul Hancon said: “We are really excited to begin working with Urban Iki. It is a brand that really keeps things simple and focusses on consumer needs. This approach has proved to be a real success in the Netherlands, so we aim to replicate that here in the UK. Urban Iki create great products that are practical and appealing in design, for an affordable price.”

Urban Iki will be formally introduced to UK retailers and trade members at Madison’s in-house trade show, iceBike* which takes place in Milton Keynes on Tuesday, February 20 until Thursday, February 22. For more information and to register, visit the website: www.icebike.co.uk
