Distributor calling on trade to take two-minute survey on feasibility of trade-filled flight

Madison to charter flight to Eurobike?

Madison has this morning called on the cycle to trade to help it assess the demand for a trade-only chartered flight to Eurobike 2011.

Trade members who have previously expressed their interest in "someone" chartering a flight to the German show are now asked to spend two minutes answering a few questions as part of Madison’s survey to assess the demand for such a flight.

The distributor believes the potential flight – from Luton direct to Friedrichshafen – would cost around £400 per head.

Answering the survey doesn’t commit users to the plan, nor does it guarantee a place should it go ahead.

Madison marketing director Will Fripp told BikeBiz: "I know its been discussed a lot, but we have started looking into (seriously) a charter flight for the UK cycle trade."
