Madison has released version 2.0 of the Madison B2B app, now available from the Apple iTunes App Store.
The new version is set to build on the first’s functionality, with compatibility across a larger range of iOS devices, providing another option for customers to communicate with the firm.
Madison offered the first UK B2B app in November, designed to make processing orders easier, with 24/7 access to the B2B system from iOS devices. Dealers can check account details, view previous orders and make purchases by scanning the barcodes of products using the built-in camera of their device.
The new version 2.0 has made Madison’s B2B app suitable for use on all iOS devices – including the iPad. If dealers own an iPad 2, they can take advantage of the barcode scanning feature using your devices camera (as can users of the iPhone 3Gs and 4G). Another feature now available to iPad users is the “Add to basket” functionality, giving iPad users the same purchasing power as those on iPhones.
Madison customers using an iPad will also have exclusive access to a new offers section. This is an iPad representation of the new special offers portion of Madison’s B2B site and includes interactive offer sheets, where latest offers are visible and easily added to the basket.
The updated app also includes features for Madison’s export customers, as it can be used with accounts linked to non-GBP currency. This addition gives all our export dealers the same great ease of use and hassle-free functionality as UK-based dealers.
Madison customers can update to version 2.0 of the Madison B2B app via the App Store. To update, simply go to the App Store, click on the Updates tab and download.
