Cumbria’s Lyon Equipment, exclusive UK distributor for Ortlieb, Julbo eyewear, Tubus and others, has announced it is to work with bike industry marketing specialist Red Cloud Marketing.
Following the recent announcement in BikeBiz of its intention to further grow presence in the bike industry, Lyon’s cycle sales specialist Nils Amelinckx said that the focus is on helping sell through for retailers.
He said: “Lyon Equipment has a great range of high quality products for retailers to choose from. Ortlieb, for example, offers riders an outstanding quality of construction and a five year warranty on its range of backpacks, pannier and saddle bags that are ideal for commuting, cycle touring or general cycling in all weathers.
“We now want to further strengthen the way we market these quality products to the consumer in order to help our retailers sell through on the shop floor. Working with Red Cloud, we will be looking to have a greater presence in the cycling media and we welcome retailer feedback on what we are doing."
The move comes as Lyon Equipment will be at The Bike Place Show between Jan 31st and Feb 2nd where they will have a wide selection from their cycling brands on display.
Products are kept in stock at Lyon’s Cumbria HQ with immediate availability on most lines.
