LOOK Cycle has unveiled the 795 BladeRSĀ 3, the third generation of its elite racing platform. Developed and validated beyond the wind tunnel, the new bike saves 15 watts compared to its predecessor. It sheds 160 grams from the frameset and offers over 350 fit combinations across six size-specific geometries. Every frame is hand-painted, assembled, and quality-controlled at LOOK’s manufacturing facility in Burgundy, France, and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

The Truth is on the Road

With a race-winning heritage already established, the 795 BladeRSĀ 3 was co-developed with the professional athletes of Team Cofidis from its very first conceptual sketches. Its performance was proven well before its official debut. Ridden by Alex Aranburu, it claimed a stage victory at the Itzulia Basque Country in April, before securing another impressive win at the Tour of Belgium in June.

The development of the 795 BladeRSĀ 3 was guided by a singular objective: performance that delivers on the road. This third-generation platform is built upon two fundamental engineering principles – prioritizing the essential connection between the rider and the bike; and ensuring that every engineering advancement is based on holistic, repeatable gains validated in real-world conditions. Drawing on decades of LOOK’s aerodynamic insight – including the recent development of the P24 track bike – theĀ 795 BladeRSĀ 3Ā has been developed specifically to conquer the turbulent, unsteady air of real-world racing.

Romain Simon, Bike Category Leader, LOOK Cycle, said:Ā “Developing a bike with high technical promise and countless marginal gains only holds value if the bike fits the rider perfectly and provides them with the finest feeling on the bike. That conviction shaped every choice we made on the 795 BladeRSĀ 3.”

LOOK’s development process relied on three key steps to ensure tangible speed on the road. Engineers used advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations to understand turbulent airflow, specifically focusing on high yaw angles. To ensure the new platform delivers performance in unpredictable, real-world environments, the bike was rigorously tested on both the open road and the velodrome. By utilizing wind tunnel testing, LOOK successfully identified aerodynamic enhancements that remain effective across different body types, varying speeds, and diverse drafting positions. Tested both with and without a rider, this exhaustive testing resulted in identical aerodynamic gains in both scenarios, with consistent gains completely undisturbed by the rider’s turbulence.

The outcome is a measurable advantage for every rider that positively impacts daily average speeds and training loads. At 50 kph, the new bike saves 15 watts compared to its predecessor. It maintains exceptional aerodynamic efficiency across wind angles from -15° to +15° and beyond, delivering a consistent advantage with or without a rider.

Charles Philippe, R&D Manager, LOOK Cycle, said:Ā “A new solution was tested with a real rider and adopted only when the gain was statistically robust—delivering a consistent advantage beyond normal measurement uncertainty, rather than a one-off result. That is a very high bar to pass, but it is the mission we gave ourselves: to make anyone who rides a 795 BladeRSĀ 3 faster, all the time.”

Balanced power distribution and ride quality

Crafted for excellence on the road, the 795 BladeRS 3 utilizes an individually optimized frameset built upon three key pillars: real-world gains, state-of-the-art ergonomics, and a unique riding experience. By strategically placing every carbon ply and gram, the bike delivers:

  • Superior Power Transfer: Shaped for minimal drag, the front end and bottom bracket are up to 10% stiffer than the World Tour average to maximize responsiveness.
  • Precise Handling: The fork and rear triangle feature deliberately compliant tubes designed to maintain performance in turbulent air, absorbing harsh road conditions and improving cornering efficiency.
  • Rolling Efficiency: A generous 34mm tire clearance accommodates wider tires and rims for optimal performance

The 795 BladeRSĀ 3 continues LOOK’s longstanding tradition of delivering a ride full of character and precision that blends pure racing DNA with over 40 years of pioneering carbon fiber expertise.

Because the rider accounts for 75% of aerodynamic drag, perfect positioning is essential for speed. LOOK has developed the 795 BladeRSĀ 3 to make fit and component ergonomics central to overall performance. As a central driver of the bike’s aerodynamic performance, the new Aero CarbonRSĀ 3 is LOOK’s most innovative handlebar to date. Engineered for three distinct racing scenarios, it features a shape that helps the rider maintain an aero position longer, maximized stiffness in the drops for sprinting, and a tailored sweep and flare to open the chest for better breathing on climbs.

350 Ways to Be Faster

The “Your LOOK Ć  la Carte” configurator offers over 350 fit options, ensuring every rider finds their perfect setup. Customization is available directly to customers at lookcycle.com and to B2B partners via the dedicated B2B platform.

  • Customizable Cockpit: Combines seven stem lengths (80 to 140 mm), three handlebar widths, and 0 to 50 mm of headset spacers.
  • Aeropost 5 Seatpost: Features the new seatpost, available in two different offset options.
  • Universal Handling: Six dedicated sizes and geometries, paired with three fork offsets, ensure consistent handling characteristics for cyclists ranging from 155 cm to 200 cm (XXS to XL).

The relationship between a rider and their bike is also deeply personal, and no two riders are alike. The 795 BladeRSĀ 3 honors this individuality with four distinct finishes:Ā Pro Team BlackĀ (featuring exposed carbon),Ā Silver Red,Ā Orange Shift / Black, andĀ Iconic PrismeĀ (a graphic livery showcasing LOOK’s heritage colors).

Sitting at the pinnacle of the range is theĀ Iconic Prisme Replica: a highly limited edition of just 50 bikes worldwide, offered in the exact configuration raced by Team Cofidis at the Tour de France. Weighing in at 7.1 kg and equipped with a wireless Campagnolo Super Record groupset and Bora WTO 60 Ultra Team wheels, it is adorned with the iconic red, yellow, and blue geometry that has defined LOOK frames for four decades. One LOOK principle has never wavered: you ride the same bike as the pros. The Replica embodies this principle in its purest form.

Federico Musi, CEO at LOOK Cycle, said:Ā “The 795 BladeRSĀ 3 expresses what LOOK has stood for over forty years: racing innovation, crafted by hand in Burgundy, and shared without compromise between the pros and every rider. We did not design it to win a comparison table. We designed it to win on the road and to stand as the ultimate long-term partner for our riders.”
