Applications for tickets to the London 2012 Paralympic Games close at 6pm today (Monday September 26th), but some events – including Track Cycling – have already been oversubscribed.
It’s the first time in Paralympic history that sessions across several sports have been oversubscribed over a year before the games begin.
According to the latest from the London 2012 Organising Committee, tickets for the Road Cycling event, to be held at Brands Hatch, are still available – as are those for a range of other sports including Table Tennis and Basketball.
Other oversubscribed sports include Swimming, Wheelchair Rugby and Wheelchair Tennis.
There are 338 days to go until the Paralympic Games begin on August 29th and running until September 9th 2012. The Olympics Games get started on July 27th, running until August 12th 2012.
