Litelok Expands its X Range with the new X1 Plus

British lock manufacturer LITELOK has extended its range of angle grinder-resistant armoured U-locks to include LITELOK X1 PLUS.

According to Litelok, the new variant has all the benefits of LITELOK X1 but with a longer reach shackle for riders who need extra length to lock their bicycle or motorcycle, as well as more space to lock accessories. LITELOK says the X1 PLUS maintains the same accreditations, certified Sold Secure Diamond for both bicycles and motorcycles.

I’m incredibly proud to add the LITELOK X1 PLUS to our range of grinder resistant U-locks. This has been a much-requested addition to the standard X1, which is our most popular product. We love the fact that it’s also made in our Solar powered factory in Swansea (UK), utilising 21st century manufacturing technology, combined with the love, care and craft of our highly trained local workforce.

We are delighted to be the first company to release an extra-long grinder resistant U-lock and it further reinforces the importance and versatility of our Barronium® patented armouring technology, which gives riders peace of mind in a range of practical products that are designed for them – LITELOK Founder & CEO, Professor Neil Barron

The brand says the LITELOK X1 PLUS allows riders to lock multiple bikes together, including in a vehicle. Responding to customer feedback, riders are now able to use it with larger framed e-bikes and cargo bikes. LITELOK says the X1 PLUS can also be paired with other LITELOK products and works with the X1 Tactical Mount, giving users multiple ways to carry it on different bikes.
