New title based on the burgeoning sport releases next Tuesday

Latest Triathlon title heading to news stands

The latest publication to make the most of the growing sport of Triathlon is heading to news stands next Tuesday.

The new publication, Triathalon Plus, is being published by Future, as reported by BikeBiz last month.

Last year the sport saw 650 events registered in the UK governing bodies, although it’s estimated that up to 800 triathlon events took place in 2008. A whopping 13,000 participants signed up to the London Triathalon too, making it the largest in the world.

"Triathlon Plus is the magazine for people who love the energy and excitement of a multi-disciplinary sport,” said Triathlon Plus editor Elizabeth Hufton.

“If you’re passionate about taking part and want to improve your personal best then it’s definitely the magazine for you.

“The great thing about Triathlon Plus is that it’s crafted by triathletes for triathletes. We understand what triathlon is all about because we’ve been there and that enables us to bring you unrivalled advice and insight into the sport.”
